Our European card issuing partner will be performing system-wide infrastructure maintenance to all EU production environments on September 23rd 2023 21:00 – 23:00 UTC (17:00-19:00 EDT). During the maintenance period, the system will be unavailable as core database infrastructure is being upgraded. When service is resumed, there should be no impact to you once maintenance has been completed.
1. Can cardholders perform transactions or issue new cards during the scheduled maintenance?
Answer: No transactions or card issuance operations will be possible during the maintenance period.
2. Will the scheduled maintenance extend beyond two hours, or has a buffer been added to ensure the maintenance window does not run beyond the allocated time frame?
Answer: Buffer time has been accounted for, and the maintenance is not anticipated to exceed two hours.
3. What is the contingency plan in case a rollback is necessary, and has it been validated in a lower environment?
Answer: The contingency plan involves reverting to the previous database instance, and this plan has been tested in lower environments.
